Nola Brantley Speaks partnered with the Los Angeles Probation Department to develop "The CSEC Caregiver Project," a CSEC intervention curriculum for parents and caregivers of CSEC-identified youth.

This curriculum is designed to help educate parents and caregivers about CSEC while also providing an environment where parents and caregivers can support one another. The curriculum covers the following
  • An overview of what CSEC is
  • Risk factors and pathways of entry
  • Understanding the impact of CSEC involvement
  • Challenges with leaving "the life"
  • How to advocate for their youth/young adult
  • Empowerment

The CSEC Caregiver Project is very timely right now because now is when the youth needs our help the most. This project is focused on supporting and protecting children, teenagers, and young adults by helping them to succeed in life in many different ways. Over the years of working with teenagers and children as a volunteer in a non-profit organization, I have heard so many tragic stories about youth members who suffered from traumatic experiences in the hands of their own family members. Unfortunately, it is impossible to save everyone, even if we want to, but we can definitely prevent many members of the youth from ever experiencing the dangers they face if they fall victim to the wrong hands. I think it is a great idea that this project is also focused on empowering the youth because many of them lack the confidence they need to continue on with their lives.

Please contact me. I have a 120 acre ranch I have built to receive women in recovery from CESC. I am watching your trainings, I have also experienced CESC and as an older person, have an understanding of what worked for me re: restoration. However I would like to learn more and need expert advice and counsel. Please contact me and let me know how to obtain your manual. Thanks.
