Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Gay Cis Males & Transgender Females

Given the disproportionate number of LGBTQ youth involved in the commercial sex industry, it’s essential for providers to learn more about the issue. In this 1-day training, participants will learn about social risk factors, individual risk factors, familial risk factors for transgender females and gay cis males’ involvement in the commercial sex industry. Participants will learn about the unique experiences of gay males and transgender females in the commercial sex industry. Lastly, participants will also learn about the current gap in services for this population as well as what your agency can do to better serve this population.
