Organizational Strategies to Address Vicarious Trauma

"Organizational Strategies to Address Vicarious Trauma" is a 1-day traininig. Vicarious trauma is starting to be talked about more often in the social services field, and yet, many organizations struggle to adequately address it. When it isn’t addressed, it can lead to exhaustion, burnout, absence from work, premature departure from the organization, and less effective service delivery for youth and families. This training is designed to be interactive and reflective. The training will include some large group discussions, lecture, and reflective journaling. Participants will learn about vicarious trauma within organizations, strategies to mitigate vicarious trauma within their teams, and strategies to build resilient employees. This training is ideal for leaders and those interest in leadership positions.
